Tolman was a part of ABC on Downward Dog (based on Animal Media Group's web-series). The series ended after one season. Tolman played a lead role in the drama show Emergence which premiered on September 24, 2019. It was pulled on May 21, 2020 after only one season despite "pretty strong" ratings, according to Tolman. Also, she was a guest star on the NBC series Good Girls. In 2021, she appeared as Alma Filcott in the second season of the drama series Why Women Kill, and she also played Natalie Green in The Facts of Life section of the third edition of Live in Front of a Studio Audience.
